City
Wilderness increasingly approaches today the city borders, penetrates the suburbs, and redetermines their boundaries. The city, by contrast, in its reticular and sprawled dimension, crosses, intersects, and fragments this decontaminated and de-anthropized wasteland. From the standpoint of the architectural project, this section explores the potential of this symbiotic relationship towards more resilient cities, and comprises works that oscillate between artifact and spectacle, contemplation and wildness, stillness and motion, notions of spectacle and modernization.
